MEET THE CANDIDATES!!

CONFIRMED SPEAKERS:

Republican Primary Candidate for United States Senate

Kim Farington

Kim Farington is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), inventor, successful entrepreneur, and respected public servant of 33 years.

As an astute and dedicated steward of America’s finances, Kim led major financial reforms at the Department of War, U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Office of Personnel Management, and the White House, saving taxpayers over one billion dollars.

Upon her retirement from government service as the Chief Financial Officer of the First Responder Network Authority – where she managed a budget of 100 billion dollars – Kim became the founder and CEO of KTech, a small business focused on financial management, cybersecurity, and human capital management. Kim is also an inventor and holder of three patents.

Today, Kim lives with her husband Dave, a retired Navy Captain, in Fairfax Station, Virginia.  They are both faith-based Christians, attending Catholic Mass and Protestant services together.  She is committed to using her vast experience in government financial management and business to improve the lives of all Virginians.

Republican Primary Candidate for United States Senate

David Williams

David Williams is a proud American, lifelong Republican, and dedicated leader ready to fight for our country in the U.S. Senate.

Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, and raised in San Diego, California, David grew up in a middle-class household anchored in faith, discipline, and love of country. His mother served as a public school teacher, and his father, a retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer, instilled in him a deep respect for duty and service. At 14, David moved with his family to Decatur, Georgia, where he attended an under-resourced high school. There, he saw firsthand how strong values and determination could overcome difficult circumstances. His faith, forged in those formative years, continues to guide his life and leadership today.

David enlisted in the U.S. Navy before earning a competitive ROTC scholarship to attend Morehouse College. Upon graduating he became an infantry officer in the U.S. Marines.  He deployed to Iraq twice as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he led a platoon of Marines and during his second deployment engaged in combat operations. Following his military service, David began a diplomatic career advancing American interests across Latin America in the U.S. Department of State.  He then joined the CIA as a Case Officer, where he coordinated security and intelligence related matters and served as a Chief of Station. David continues his service to date as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.

His experience, on the front lines of war and diplomacy, has shaped his unwavering belief in conservative principles: limited government, strong borders, secure communities, and the unmatched power of the American Dream. Now living in Reston, Virginia, with his wife and three children, David is stepping forward once again not to serve abroad, but to serve at home.

Republican Candidate for the 8th Congressional District

Tony Sabio

Tony has spent his life protecting freedom -- not talking about it. He believes leadership begins with service, courage, and optimism. Like the Reagan tradition, he believes America's best days are not behind us - they are ahead of us, if we have the courage to lead with strength and common sense.

He is not a career politician - he's a battle-tested patriot who has dedicated his life to serving and protecting the American people. With over two decades of experience in the U.S. Military, the Secret Service, and the CIA, Tony has operated in the shadows to ensure that others could thrive in the light of freedom. His mission has always been clear: defend this nation, protect its people, and uphold the Constitution - no matter the cost. He believes that common sense should guide our decisions in government, and that leaders must prioritize Country Before Politics.

Born to a Puerto Rican mother and a father of Filipino heritage, Tony grew up in a household where faith, discipline, and family were paramount. He understands the deep-rooted values found in America's working families because they shaped who he is. Tony believes that America's strength lies in strong families, safe communities, and leaders who genuinely serve the people. Unfortunately, too many in government have forgotten their duty; they’ve traded service for self-interest, leaving everyday Americans behind.

That’s why Tony is stepping up to change the narrative. He brings real-world experiences to the table, not empty promises. He stands for courage, not compromise, and carries a servant's heart forged in sacrifice. As we approach the upcoming Elections in Virginia's 8th Congressional District, it’s time to restore honor to public office. It’s time for leadership that leads by example.

Tony is ready to serve again - this time, as your voice, your advocate, and your unwavering defender in government. If you believe in Tony's vision, consider volunteering or donate to support his campaign as he fights for the values we all cherish as proud Republicans in the GOP.

He is also a MacArthur Fellow in International Security. Following his government service, he founded and led successful private enterprises, including a federal contracting firm and a law practice focused on complex legal and regulatory matters.
